What is The Resource Collective (TRC)?

A large scale system that sources, procures, stores and distributes high quality, large quantity donated materials to support those in need in Arizona. TRC helps member nonprofit organizations access material donations for those they serve. Learn more here: https://theresourcecollective.gives/

Who Can Join?

· Must be a 501c3 non-profit organization as evidenced by the IRS Determination Letter

· Must provide services and programs that care for the ill, needy, infants (age birth to 18) and veterans.

· Must be able to accept pallet level quantity material donations

· Certify that donated items received through the TRC will not be sold, bartered, traded, auctioned, raffled or otherwise used for monetary or financial gain by the non-profit organization or their clients.

· Schools are eligible and must provide their NCES number viewable on http://nces.ed.gov/globallocator/ .

Who Can Not Join?

501c3 non-operating private foundations, 501c19 Post or Organizations of War Veterans, and 501c10 Domestic Fraternal Societies are eligible to participate and must provide a letter on their letterhead stating that the donations received will be used under IRS Code 170 (e) (3) guidelines. A copy of the required verbiage may be obtained from Stardust Non-Profit Building Supplies

How Do I Join?

There is a short application process to confirm 501c3 status, assess capacity, and cover what is permitted and not permitted for participants of the program.

When Can I join?

Very soon! MRDS will be adding Partner Organizations within the coming months. Click here to be placed on the waitlist with the others interested in participating in the MRDS system.

Does TRC Distribute Directly to Individuals in Need?

No. TRC is for non-profit organizations whose mission is to serve those in need. TRC distributes only to the organizations, not individuals.

What Kind of Products Does TRC Supply?

TRC provides products that are deemed “essential” by its current participants. Upon orientation, TRC members will be asked to provide a top 10 list of most wanted items. This will help guide the acquisition process for TRC. Currently, the most requested and distributed categories are Clothing, Hygiene, Beauty, Food Storage, and School Supplies.

Can I Sell the Items?

No. Any monetary gain acquired through distribution of items provided by TRC is strictly prohibited, and will result in immediate revocation of membership.

Does TRC Deliver?

Delivery options are available for certain TRC Partner Organizations.

What Does it Cost?

TRC is a subscription based program. Membership pricing will be available soon.
