At Stardust, we believe our role serving customers and the community is a critical one. Like you, we are continuing to monitor and evaluate the coronavirus. The safety of our team members and customers remains our top priority. Please read on for more details on our actions to support our customer and team member safety.

What is Stardust doing to keep customers safe and healthy as they shop in the stores?

  1. Enhanced and more frequent cleaning and disinfecting of our stores, particularly in high-touch areas (including carts, handbaskets, payment touchpads) using disinfectants for cleaning that are EPA-approved to prevent emerging viral pathogens claims associated with COVID-19
  2. Plexiglass shields at all checkout lanes
  3. Monitoring and metering customer access to stores as needed or based on state or local requirements of the number of persons permitted in the building at one time
  4. Posting signage and floor decals emphasizing the importance of social distancing while shopping
  5. We are strongly encouraging customers to wear face masks and gloves at all times while shopping in our reuse centers.
  6. Providing curbside pick-up for online orders to accommodate the increase in demand for these services
  7. Adjusting store hours when appropriate to support extended cleaning and re-stocking

What are other fulfillment options available for customers?

Stardust now offers a variety of shopping experiences including:

  1. Order online and pick up in store
  2. Order online and we will bring it to your car for contactless curbside pickup

What is Stardust doing to keep our team members safe and healthy?

  1. We are strongly encouraging use of mask and gloves at all times, and providing these to all team members
  2. Requiring team members to stay home when they are feeling unwell
  3. Offering new, additional emergency paid sick time and excusing absences related to COVID-19 events
  4. Close monitoring of the health of our team members, including a daily checklist to track and monitor any signs and symptoms
  5. Revising our service standards to encourage all team members to leave 6 feet of “Space to be Safe” between them, customers, and other team members
  6. Reminding employees to practice social distancing, follow good hygiene, wash their hands frequently, and avoid touching their eyes, nose and mouth

What other changes have you made in response to COVID-19?

  1. We have positioned hand sanitizer throughout the stores for easy access by customers and employees
  2. We have increased the number of trash cans throughout the stores and required can liners to reduce exposure to disposed items
  3. Where practical we are sanitizing materials prior to placing them on the sales floor.
